The Mission of the Southeast Deanery East of the River Revival is to create an atmosphere whereby the spiritual vitality, consciousness, and activeness of the Southeast Deanery churches and partners can be restored and renewed.

The revival is held annually in October at a different church every night. Fostering a spirit of evangelization in our faith communities to whom we are called to witness and serve, the Revival is an open to all believers.

1. Feed the Homeless - 3rd Friday on the odd numbered months at 10:00 AM make sandwiches in the Panorama Room; at 7:00 AM 3rd Saturday deliver and distribute the lunches to the men's shelter;
2. Food Pantry  - every Thursday from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM for Ward 8 residents and/or anyone in need of food; call-in emergency food requests (Mon - Fri 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM);
3. Christmas - the Saturday before Christmas at 6:00 am, assemble and distribute baskets of food and toys to the community (approximately 100 families); and,
4. Giving Hearts - donation given to a non-profit in June and December each year.

This is a 2-year campaign led by a group of Catholic pastors from African American parishes with a mission to evangelize in and beyond their parish communities. With this effort, we want to encounter Christ and bring others to that same encounter. For more information, contact us at 202-678-4999.

Confidential meetings are held on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the Parish Life Center.  Prequisite: Interview.  This is a support group where people can come together to discuss their problems and discuss their situations in a safe and confidential environment.  The group provides crisis intervention, support services, retreats for youth, family, and substance abuse.  The group participants help each other work through life challenges, and networking.
