The Sodality encourages devotion to Mary through the Rosary, a Day of Recollection and Annual Prayer Breakfast. The Sodality also provides Scholarships for students attending Catholic High Schools.

Mission Statement: To provide a source in helping to meet the social and spiritual needs of adults in our parish and the surrounding community.
Meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month in the Parish Life Center. A ministry composed of both single and married young adults, ranging in age from 30 to 50, who are looking to enhance their spiritual growth, bring about positive changes in their social environment, support the Youth Programs at Our Lady and have an active role in the continuing success of the programs and events that Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish provides its parishioners. They sponsor a program or event at least once a quarter. Their goal is to bring about a sense of pride and teamwork amongst all OLPH Ministries through working together on several projects.

Cursillo is a Worldwide Evangelical movement of the Catholic Church, which started in Spain. Its name is Spanish meaning “short course in Christianity”. Cursillo has a Secretariat that reports to the Archdiocese of Washington, DC. There are ten groups meeting at various churches within the Archdiocese. They meet at specified times throughout the month at gatherings called “Ultreyas” which means “onward in your faith journey”. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church is a part of the East of the River Ultreya, which includes four surrounding churches: OLPH, Assumption, St. Thomas More, and St. Francis Xavier.
Meetings are held the fourth (4th) Friday at 7:30 pm in the Parish Life Center.

The Hilltoppers is an ecumenical group of senior citizens age 55 and older who participate in Mass, share lunch and socialize. There are two types of members: A. OLPH parishioners: registered and practicing members of OLPH Catholic Church in good standing and B. Non-parishioners: members of other faiths or Catholic Churches who participate in the activities of the group The group also invites non-members and the community, on occasion, to informal discussions on different topics: Living Wills, Power of Attorney, Health Insurance information (Medicate), Investments, and Volunteer work.

Meetings are held on the first (1st) Sunday at 9:30 am in the Parish Life Center. A breakfast is sponsored every second (2nd) Sunday as a fundraising activity. This is a fraternal organization created under the direction of St. Joseph’s Ladies’ Auxiliary No.213 to the Knights of St. John International. With the Blessed Mother as their model, the Organization teaches Christian values, principles, and sisterly love. Young ladies between the ages of 8 and 18 participate in a biennial convention with the Knights and Ladies; participate in various local activities with eight other Junior Auxiliaries in the Washington, DC and Maryland areas. OLPH Junior Auxiliary has a drill team that competes in competition at the Conventions. OLPH Junior Auxiliary also participates in OLPH Youth Ministry sponsored activities. Motto: Sisterly Love.

A fraternal organization, created under the Knights of St. John International, the ladies practice Christian values and principles in their devotion to the Blessed Mother. The Auxiliary assists the needy, provides scholarships to young ladies attending Catholic High School; participates in biennial joint conventions with the Knights; the annual Baltimore/Washington Grand convention; attend Mother’s Day Mass at the Shrine; has an annual Memorial Mass for their deceased; and oversees the Junior Auxiliary.

This is a fraternal organization of men created under the Knights of St. John International, the leading most prominent semi-military Catholic organization in the United States. The Knights contribute their services to many religious, civic, and social activities. They escort the Cardinal or Bishop at religious occasions and newly ordained priests when they are about to celebrate their first Solemn High Mass. The Knights serve at Labor Day Mass, sponsor an annual Memorial Day and Commemoration Mass, and attend biennial joint conventions with the Ladies’ Auxiliaries, the annual convention with the Baltimore/Washington Grand, and provide scholarships for students.

“Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” Colossian 3:17 Objective: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church Women’s Ministry seeks to help women develop friendships, support one another, grow spiritually and reach out to others through service and witness.
Purpose: The Women’s Ministry will meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the women at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church (OLPH). The ministry will encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen trusting friendships with other women and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our community for Christ.
